Hotel heiress' Paris Hilton's year long bid to stay single and celibate will be over in 30 days.

Hilton and her party pals entered into a pact a year ago to enjoy the single life for a full year before getting serious about the future, reports www.hollywood.tv.

Kim Kardashian, a close friend of Hilton, said: "Me, Hilton and the girls are trying to stay single for one year. In March that'll be over. I'm a relationship kind of girl, but I think everyone needs a year in their life to be single."

Hilton, who said she'd be married and pregnant by 2010 in an interview two years ago, is making sure her men are lined up when her single stint comes to an end.

She recently celebrated her 26th birthday in Las Vegas over the weekend with two ex-boyfriends -- Stavros Niarchos and Brandon Davis. She was seen hopping between Niarchos and Davis, alternately kissing one and then the other between bites of sushi.

The salon owner in whose shop Britney Spears went bald revealed that the first thing that the singer said when she saw her new look, was that her mother was sure to “freak”.

The singer dropped in at a salon in California's San Fernando Valley at about 6pm and picked up an electric razor and started ripping through her hair as her fans looked on aghast, on Friday, Feb 16.

As she took a look at herself in the mirror, a teary Britney Spears reportedly blurted out to owner Esther Tognozzi that her mother was sure to loose her cool when she saw the ‘Toxic’ singer.

"'My mom is going to freak. She's gonna kill me,'" Hollywoodrag.com quoted Spears, as telling Tognozzi.

Tognozzi also insisted that she had tried to talk Spears out of getting rid of her hair, but the singer had not listened to her.

When the salon owner refused to touch Britney’s locks, the singer picked up a scissor and hacked away her hair, and then used an electric shaver to rip out the rest.

People magazine reported that though Spears wasn't charged for her shave, Tognozzi is already planning to charge other customers who want the ‘Brit-Buzz’ as much as 200 dollars.

"Now I'm charging $200 for the Brit-Buzz Special!" People quoted her, as saying.

Ryan Gosling Is To Be Blamed For Britney's Sex Kitten Image

Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling feels that he is to blame for Britney Spears’ reputation of being a sex kitten, because he ‘corrupted’ them with information about sex when they were kids.

Gosling revealed that he had given the two stars, as well as other kids, tips on sex when they were part of the Mickey Mouse Club.

"They (Mickey Mouse Club co-stars) would come and ask me questions about sex and I just told them what I heard... positions and stuff," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

The actor admitted that the moms of the young stars had been furious with him when they found out, and had even complained to Disney about his behaviour.

Bond actor Daniel Craig was in a rather bad mood after the Bafta awards that he almost picked up a fight with a journalist and hurled the F- word at him, at Grosvenor House after party.

The 39-year-old actor, who was nominated for Best Actor and lost out to Forest Whitaker, was accompanied by his girlfriend producer Satsuki Mitchell, and was rather annoyed by the reporter’s joke, when he said that he was looking great in a pair of shorts in the film.

The reporter Johann Hari stated that he had million other ways of reacting and that Craig was in a vile mood even when they began talking

"When we first spoke, he was in a vile mood. I just made a joke about how great he looked in his shorts in the film. There were so many ways he could have reacted. But instead, he called me a 'f***ing fool'.” Daily Mail quoted the reporter, as saying.

A security added that looking at the situation Satsuki rushed to his side; before he hit the reporter and that the ‘Casino Royale’ star did not look happy.

“She rushed to his side and literally put her arm between them before this guy got thumped. It was clear that Daniel was not at all happy,” the source said.

"First of all, he loses out on the Bafta, and then everyone from Jonathan Ross downwards spends the night talking about how buff he looks in swimming trunks.” the source said.

"That's just where she was in her life. She had so much on her plate with the children she had precious little time to worry about how she looked," he said.

And though the singer has been slammed as being an unfit mother, Cohen insists that there is no two people Britney loves more in the world than her sons – Sean Preston and Jayden James.

"Her boys mean everything to her and she worried she might lose them in a custody battle," he said.

Former Playmate, Beatiful Anna Nicole Smith Is Dead

Former playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith passed away under mysterious circumstances in a hotel room in Miami, Florida, in the early hours on Friday. She was 39.

The cause of her death has yet not been announced, though it is suspected that Smith died of drug overdose.

An autopsy will be conducted on Friday, reports the BBC.

Reports published in the US media say that Smith was found unconscious in her hotel room and could not be resuscitated.

She married 89-year-old Texas oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall II in 1994 when she was 26. He died a year later.

She had to spend years fighting a legal battle against Marshall’s son for a share of his estate, which she eventually won at the Supreme Court in 2006. Smith’s lawyers have told the media that her husband Howard K. Sten was "speechless and grieving" over her death.

Earlier, her son Daniel had died at the age of 20 last September, just days after Smith's daughter was born.

The baby girl is the subject of a paternity suit because Smith's former boyfriend Larry Birkhead claims himself to be father of the child.

Smith’s contention, however, was that her lawyer Stern was the father of the child.

Born as Vicki Lynn Hogan in Mexia, Texas, on November 28, 1967, Smith modelled for Guess Jeans and Playboy before marrying Marshall besides working in several films.

She also had her own reality TV show ‘The Anna Nicole Smith show’ from 2002 to 2004.

Nick Carter has apologised to singer Ashlee Simpson for making public the news that he only slept with her to get back at then girlfriend Paris Hilton for cheating on him.

The movie is about the two bikers traveling from LA to the city of New Orleans. Their pursuit of freedom gets abrupt dramatically.

Throughout the film the two main characters experience several adventures. The first adventure is when they stop at a motel where they were turned away. Thereafter they started driving through several beautiful landscapes, which shows how the film portrays freedom in all of its beauty. The scene is quite long and shot from various camera angles, such as fade away and close-ups. Eventually, Wyatt's bike gets a flat, and the two stop at a farm to fix it. It is at this point that the film makes a comparison of the bikes to cowboys. As Wyatt is fixing his tire a man in the background is shoeing his horse. This scene represents Wyatt as a new version of a cowboy and his chopper is the new cowboy's steed, while the farmer is representing the old version. It is in this scene that Wyatt tells the farmer how much he admires his farm because he built it with his own hands. Wyatt's values and morals become clear in this scene.

In the next scene they pick up a hitchhiker. The hiker was from a city, but he refuses to say which city he is from, because he believes that all of them are the same. The hitchhiker obviously feels that by revealing the city he is giving into the idea of "big business" that would mean losing one's identity. Wyatt responds that he's never wanted to be anything but himself. The hitchhiker is running from the city, while Wyatt is searching for something.

In the following scene, the two bring the hiker to his home in a commune. Throughout this scene, there is a feeling of solitude. Everyone seems to be getting along, people are having fun, and they're all sharing the workload and growing their own food. Wyatt really looks up to the people on the commune and tells Billy that "they'll make it". The scene where they all hold hands gathered in a circle is shot from a center point and focuses on every face while rotating around. Wyatt feels comfortable there, as opposed to Billy who begins to freak out when the entire commune is singing "Does you hair hang low?" This scene shows the differences between Wyatt and Billy. For example, Billy can't stand life on the commune for more than one afternoon, while Wyatt is content to live on a commune forever.

After leaving the commune, they get arrested for participating in the parade without a permit. This symbolizes a change in the environment. They are now in the deep south of America which at the time was not as free and accepting as the commune.

While they are in jail, Wyatt and Billy meet George Hanson, an ACLU lawyer. The idea of racism becomes clear with Hanson who says that he can get them out of jail as long as they didn't kill a white person. This racist comment represents the mentality of the south at the time.

A turning point in the movie happens when they stop at a diner in New Orleans. It is obvious that they are not welcome inside the diner by the looks they get from the locals. So they decide to leave and camp out in the woods. While camping out they are beaten by the good old boys (who they previously saw at the diner) and George is killed. The death of George is very significant in the scene that follows. This scene shows the mentality of the locals which does not tolerate anything or anyone "different" then they are.

Next, after leaving a whore house Wyatt and Billy get into a discussion about how they are now free because they have the money. However, Wyatt disagrees and says that they blew it. His thinking is that they have not reached a point where they are free and never will because society is afraid of the idea of true freedom. By saying, "We blew it", Wyatt is really thinking that he would have been content if he had stayed on the commune. His chance for happiness is lost. After this scene the producer uses the black transition background the same as in scenes before.

Finally, the movie ends with the death of Wyatt and Billy. They are killed by some rednecks in a truck. After Billy is shot, Wyatt hops on his bike and rides right past the truck that shot Billy. After being killed his bike went up in flames. In that scene we can see the same burning motorcycle which is foreshadowed in an earlier scene. He had to know that they would shoot him as well but he realized that death was the only way he could truly be free. Perhaps it was an act of loyalty to Billy and also a way to escape the false notion of American freedom.

Hollywood's hottest star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt sneaked out of the five star hotel here Friday post lunch and returned secretly two hours later, informed sources said.

Jolie, who arrived Thursday, is in the city to shoot a film on slain American journalist Daniel Pearl. She plays Mariane, Pearl's wife.

"The couple left Hotel Le Meridien at around 2 p.m., but I don't know where they went," told a photographer, who managed to click a partial view of Jolie holding an umbrella.

The actress was accompanied by sweetheart Pitt, with private security guards tailing their vehicle.

Sources said the couple visited Abby's Palace, a 30,000-sq-ft-residential bungalow owned by real estate biggie Avinash Bhosale in Baner, an upmarket locality in the western part of the city.

The cultural city is ripe with rumours that the stars would move into the bungalow. The lush green, picturesque palace is spread over 12 acres and has a clubhouse, helipad and a hangar. This bungalow is also one the locales for the shooting of the film.

Jolie-Pitt duo who were to visit 223, Nayansukha, a private bungalow owned by Pungalia, a Mumbai-based businessman at Sindh Society, a posh up market colony, did not show up till evening. Photographers and journalists, who were camping there since morning, were disappointed.

"The actors and a part of the crew was supposed to visit the house but we were told that they had postponed their visit and went to other locations," a security guard on condition of anonymity said.

Outside the white house with black painted iron gates were parked two Hyundai taxis freshly painted in yellow bearing No. PH 3305 and PL 2077 and below the number plate is written - KARACHI.

Sources said Sindh Society colony and the house within it was selected as it resembled the residence of American journalist Daniel Pearl in Karachi, who was killed in Pakistan four years ago.

There is hectic activity within the 223, Nayansukh bungalow to spruce up the place for shooting. The gate walls of the house and its neighbouring bungalows are also being painted white and the height of the compound walls is being increased to resemble Pearl's house in Karachi.

"It is a big house and beautiful. You will admire when you see it in the film," a security guard, who has been warned not to talk to the press, said after a great deal of persuasion.

Many vehicles have been making the rounds of this house. A posh van also brought in two foreigners late afternoon, most likely members of the shooting crew, who went into the house to examine the preparations.

Security is tight round-the-clock with security guards shooing away photographers.

A lot of stuff was being unloaded at the house indicating the approaching deadline for the shoot. Two more bungalows at Sindh Society have also been hired for the film crew, sources said, without disclosing details.

Police inspector Deepak Hundre, who inspected Sindh Society, said he was on routine duty and flashed a smiled: "I have no idea when the shooting will start or where the couple have gone today. I am just doing my duty," he said, as his jeep sped away.

Though nobody could confirm the date of shooting the film in the city, many say it is likely to begin Monday, Oct 9.

Purva Chaudhary, assistant front office manager of Hotel Le Meridien said the star couple and their three kids - Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt - are staying on the fifth floor.

They were escorted to six suites number 519 to 526. The suites were booked for the Hollywood stars and their crew. Each room can accommodate two people. The floor has tight security and no one else is allowed to enter the fifth floor without the prior permission of the stars' security.

Chandrakant More, the driver who drove the star couple in a Mercedes Benz van from the Lohegaon Airport near Pune to the hotel Thursday, said he went straight to the tarmac since it was raining heavily.

"The couple got in along with their maid and their bodyguard and I brought them straight to the hotel," More said, adding it was his privilege to ferry them.

The secrecy of the movement of the couple is so tight that not even overseas paparazzi from Sweden, US, UK and other countries have managed to "shoot" the stars yet.

The hotel staff is also waiting for film director Michael Winterbottom and other crew, who are likely to arrive in a couple of days. Winterbottom will start shooting the movie based on Pearl, a reporter with The Wall Street Journal from Oct 9.

Yet when California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's first serious girlfriend wrote a memoir that is being published this week, he embraced the project, offering a foreword and lengthy interview for the 325-page tome.

Barbara Outland Baker, 58, met Schwarzenegger in 1969 shortly after he arrived from Austria and they dated for six years, living together for four of them, a time during which he became the world's most famous muscleman.

"For six years, I lived to inhale the essence of Arnold Schwarzenegger," Baker writes in her book "Arnold and Me: In the Shadow of the Austrian Oak."

"Since our time ended, I have lived to exorcise his power over my psyche. I have not mastered this particular talent, however; the longer we have been apart, the more I realize I can never escape this man's shadow."

In an interview, Baker, who teaches writing at a college in Southern California, said Schwarzenegger's oversized persona still affects her life three decades after they broke up.

"Of course I am not in love with Arnold! Once he gets in your skin, there is just no total letting go because of the frequency in which you hear about him and so the world makes me react to him all the time," she said. "So he is far more active in my psyche than an old boyfriend would otherwise be."

Although Schwarzenegger's wild past was a big issue in the 2003 campaign that brought him to office, the subject has not been an issue in his effort to win a second term and the Republican is far ahead in polls.

Mariyah Moten, a 22-year-old US-based Pakistani, is being billed as "Pakistan's first Miss Bikini" after she topped the 'Best in Media' category at the Miss Bikini Universe pageant in China last week.

Having won the title at Beihai resort in southern China, wowing crowds there and alarming conservatives in Pakistan, Moten is currently in Mumbai for a "special interview" assignment with a major Indian newspaper chain.

The News International newspaper reported with the comment: "A few Pakistani women in the past have ventured to compete in beauty pageants but none has gone this far in terms of unsheltered territory."

The Houston girl has "created a frenzy by participating in an international bikini contest and even landed a prize - even if not exactly for skin", the newspaper said.

Mariyah represented Pakistan at the pageant. She received a trophy, plus cash in the 'Best in Media' section for being "the most photographed and interviewed girl in the entire pageant".

Since the pageant, Mariyah has created a splash on television channels like Zee News as well as Khaleej Times, China Daily, Hangzhou Newspaper and various other newspapers in China and elsewhere.

Born and brought up in Karachi, Mariyah moved to the US with her family eight years ago, the newspaper said.

"It's the first time that Pakistan is participating in the bikini pageant, as we're an Islamic country," Moten was quoted as excitedly telling China Daily.

"Now, there's less reproach in Pakistan on women's participation in such beauty contests," she said. "All my family supports me and I'm excited to have the chance to participate in the event."

She is studying hotel management at the University of Houston, Texas, where she did her high schooling.

Mariyah was among 47 other participants who paraded at the Great Hall of The People. The candidates, all aged between 18 and 25, paraded before the cameras representing their countries. India did not participate.

Mariyah was crowned Queen Pearl and received $5,000 in prize money. The second and third place earned the title Miss Pearl and received $3,000 and $2,000 respectively, according to the pageant's organising committee.

This is the second award Mariyah has received in her pageant career after she was titled Miss Charity at the Miss Tourism Queen International pageant in July 2006.

A nude photo of pregnant US pop singer Britney Spears was given the green light on Friday by a subway censorship board after being rejected for being too "stimulating".

The advertisement for the October issue of Harper's Bazaar features a nude and very pregnant Spears crossing her arms over her breasts was originally censored by subway operator Tokyo Metro Co.

After a revision to the "stimulating" design that blacks out Spears from the waist down the subway operator deemed the advertisement as fit for commuters as it shows the joy of bearing a child.

"We decided to accept the photo as it is because it expresses maternal love and joy of bearing a child," the Tokyo Metro spokesman said. "By revising the design, the initial intention to convey the message is not served."

The magazine intended to project the moment when women appear most elated in their lives, Keiko Murakami, publishing editor, said.

After reluctantly accepting the censorship HB Japan said they would include a statement on the blackened portion explaining why the design was altered from the magazine cover.
