'Juno' star Ellen Page comes out as lesbian

Hollywood actress and “Juno” star Ellen Page came out as a lesbian on Friday night during an emotional speech at a conference for gay teens.

“I suffered for years because I was scared to be out,” she said during the Las Vegas meeting for counselors who work with teenagers who identify as lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual or queer. “My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationship suffered.”

The Canadian actress, who also starred in "Inception," "To Rome with Love" and "X-Men: The Last Stand," reportedly received a standing ovation.

“We deserve to experience love fully equally without shame and without compromise. There are too many kids out there suffering from bullying, rejection or simply being mistreated because of who they are,” the 26-year-old said. “Too many dropouts, too much abuse, too many homeless, too many suicides.”

Page praised others who had come out recently, like NFL hopeful Michael Sam.

Miley Cyrus Shows Naked Butt At ‘Bangerz’ Tour Opener

Sat, February 15, 2014

She’s baaaack. Miley returned with a vengeance on Feb. 14, opening her ‘Bangerz’ tour in Vancouver and topping all the wild expectations with a line of racy outfits.
We’ve had Feb. 14 circled on our calendars for months, and not because it was Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14 was the first night of Miley Cyrus‘ “Bangerz” tour, and the controversy-loving singer did not disappoint, twerking and gallivanting around her elaborate stage in a series of wild costumes.
The Vancouver audience must’ve known they were in for a show when Miley emerged from a massive picture of her own face. Taking a ride to the stage down a slide that acted as the big-faced Miley’s tongue, the singer was already stunning in a sparkly red two-piece, crotch-baring number with furry shoulders.
And that was just the beginning. Miley later took the stage in one of her naughtiest outfits to date — a marijuana-leaf-bedazzled, thonged onesie with a plunging neckline. Miley made things even raunchier by then bending over and giving everyone a look at her bare butt, and later gyrating all over a car that was wheeled out on stage.
